Elderly People(2019-20)
Description: Holy Child School is known not only for its excellence in academics and sports arena but also for the high morals and values instilled in each child of this institution. This time school has initiated a project in which students have to spend time and entertain elder grandparents once a month when they visit for ration. The school had organised a pilot project on 30th April, 2019 for the elderly people who had been secluded from their families and needed a helping hand to walk ahead even in this difficult phase of their lives. School had adopted 40 such elderly men and women. It made the students acquaint themselves with the the elderly people and made them realize that they had a family, The Holy Child Family. This month Class XII had taken up responsibility which was great success and resulted in active participation of every elderly people in entertainment programmes , imparting their knowledge, thoughts and the most priceless thing of all their blessings. Their hesitance at first to form an acquaintance with the students, was quickly replaced by an amicable bond of love. The programme ended with a great joy of contentment and happiness by the students for having been able to be a part of such a noble cause of the school.
