Description: Diwali is widely celebrated festival of lights symbolizing unity in diversity. On 17 Oct, 2017 Holy Child School celebrated Diwali with zeal and enthusiasm, it began by invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha through a dance performance. Three of the students highlighted the significance of this festival, through their poem. The ancient history of our culture and victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana of Lanka. Symbolizing triumph of good over evil was depicted through a drama. The stress was laid on an eco-friendly and cracker free celebration of Diwali. Thus, the short and sweet program conveyed the true meaning of festivals of lights.
